Java and I consider the accountability of our product with the utmost importance.  We
are committed to who, and how, our product supports the planet, the people and the
animals that use them .  It matters to us in every detail that our product is sustainable,
that it supports people who strive for this, and that the benefits support all participants
in the materials, process and manufacturing. Our product is developed with
consciousness and integrity.  
Care Instructions:  Your cover is washable, dry on low heat to limit shrinkage,  the inner cover is
protected from stains by the outer cover.  The eco-wool has naturally occurring lanolin which
when wet, or is exposed to urine (incontinence) reacts by self saponating-it makes it's own soap,
self washing and deodorizing.  Just let it air dry when this happens.  The best way to keep this
natural water repelling feature active is to place the bed in the sun, allowing it to draw the lanolin
to the surface.
This feature is why babies have wool pads in their cribs and on their changing tables.
Only chemically treated wool requires a lanolin bath, because it is stripped out in the process.
